Mainly whether all the files seem to be there, whether the list of branches and tags looks good, and whether things still compile (an easy way to test things are generally okay). Takes a few hours to do the whole thing. The process is: 1) Community declares that they are ready for a migration. Basically you're all committed on stuff you want to get in etc. 2) Make CVS read-only. 3) Confirm it is read only. 4) Migrate CVS to SVN. Setup authentication and commit emails. 5) Confirm SVN looks correct. 6) Test a commit works and that it sends a commit email to the list. 7) Inform the list. I need someone to do 3, 5, 6 and 7 (though as I'm on this list I can do 7 happily enough). Mostly this is just to provide a second pair of eyes so we can solve things in case anything goes wrong. Anyway, just need a volunteer to hop on #asfinfra at some point. 50% chance I'll be on in the day anyway, but drop me an email ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) if I'm not. Takes 3 hours, with the volunteers time only taken up at the start and the end.
