Hello Michael and others,

I am now a Jakarta committer :-) so I will be in a good position to do
real work on this.

I will have a look in Bugzilla to see which issues I might be able to
fix myself using my experience from Ant ;-) .

There might be also some "institutional" work to do such as changing the
license headers of the source code.
