You bet, and a few of the other jakarta things. Hmmm I've really done the
job on you eh open source-wise! <grin>. I had slide going fine for ages
under the older tomcat's but tomcat's now embeded webdav and sealed it so
it's rooted.
How's things at VC? I hear Neville L is over there? If so, what's his
email - he is my #1 drinking buddy and since he left Richmond, I've been
getting decidedly thirsty - tell him I compute he now owes me 2,435 Pots but
I'll settle for one if his good lady (who is #2) and he can make the Rising
Sun next friday ;) Why don't you come as well?
Thigs are changing here. You probably know Garry's gone, taking Explore with
him and I replaced him on the board? I am paying off a GVP share purchase
which was really generous of the guys. I've got a fantastic assistant who's
a top flight CC graduate with lots of unix and open source (my main man!! ;)
called Brad. He's now driving a broadband/e-education division while I drive
SI/Content management/Enterprise Middleware. Even downstairs is moving
fast - Seanus prefers a $1000 desktop product to Avid now and we don't train
in Avid much.
I haven't heard much about Virtual Communities in a while - what's new
there? What are they doing? What are you doing? Still playing that Yank
version of netball? <ducks low only to be clunked in head by an Andrew Gaze
low pass>
