Thanks Remy, i will try that!
About what i want, i want to develop a WebDav client as most as generic as possible. So i want to
test it withind as much diferent servers i cant find. In resume, the client as to interact with any
server (that suports dav) without any extra aplication on server side.

Subject: Slide+WebDAv!!!Help!

Hi!

I instaled slide today. I installed jakarta-slide-1.0m8.zip (binnary). Just like jain_vivek
i've folowed all the readme instructions:

-configured the necessary env variables;
- downloaded and unpacked : jakarta-slide-1.0.9.zip (why is this need again? IT's on the readme);
                                            jakarta-servletapi-4-20010310.zip;
                                            jakarta-ant-1.3-bin.

But i don't know how to proceed. My intention is to use slide as case study to develop a DAv client
that can iteract with most various systems. Slide give me what i want: a java api, and good environment
to learn about it.
Please help me out, i'm for to long searching for dav solutions.

Thanks in advance,

maik

p.s.: One thing i've noticed: i don't have anywhere the xml configuration files i've seen you guys talking about.....
????

I usually run Slide on top of Tomcat. So dowload either :
- Tomcat 3.2.1
- Tomcat 3.3m2
- A recent nightly build of Tomcat 4.0

Put slide.war (which can be found when you unpack your jakarta-slide-1.0.9.zip), put it in the webapps folder of Tomcat, and then run Tomcat.
Then you'll find the config files in the slide directory : Domain.xml, and the webapp config file : WEB-INF/web.xml.

Your mail isn't very clear : what are you intrested in ? The client ? The server ? Both ?
