Permissions

Hi:

For adding a new resource to webdav , say /test/col1/col11/resrc1.txt .

Do we need to check the path all the way to /test collection for
permissions/parent existence? Or Did i get lost somewhere in my log.

How is INHERITABLE,NEGATIVE are used?
