A simple question (surely)

My previous question was confused...

We want to use Slide to manage a lot of files (java files)
writed by our developer team, preventing that more than
one person modify the same file and (if it is possible)
versioning these files.

I'm interested in learning about to prevent some users
to unblock or delete a file stored & blocked by another
user ('root', i.e.)
Is this possible with Slide & DavExplorer?
