Are you sure that your slide server does not generate any errors? I have
the same problem, but my server returns an exception. Try to set debug
level and the monitor your server console. I my case I can access the
slide server using IE but not using windows explorer. I use win2k.

Subject: Slide Connection issues with W2K
Hi all,
I recently got a new Win 2K laptop, and have had problems connecting our
slide server using the open as web folder from IE. I am using IE
5.50.4807 with SP2 on Win 2000. I can connect to the same server using
DavExplorer, and I can connect to certain directories, but most
directories in slide give me this error : Documents in this folder are
not available. The folder may have been moved or deleted, or network
problems may be preventing a connection to the server.
Now the strange part is that I CAN CONNECT via IE to my server on
several other local Win2K clients, just not my laptop.
So I have narrowed the problem down to an IE problem on my computer, but
cannot figure out if it is a service pack issue or what.
Any one have any clues?????
