So, you are able to connect to webfolders using http://localhost:8081/slide?
If you can, then I think that that is as good as it gets. You can then view
the files that you have put into the 8081 or WEBDAV view through the
Localhost:8080/slide view, but I don't think that you can get to WEBDAV
through the 8080 port.

Yeah - I can connect to that but it is my understanding that I should be
able to connect to the webfolder on 8080:/slide

I am new to Slide. I just installed version 1.0.16 on a Win2k server.
I read the FAQ and followed the instruction to add a web folder to "My
Network Places". When I try to add http://localhost:8080/slide I get
the following error:
The folder you entered appears to be invalid. Please choose another.

If I hit this URL with a browser it works fine.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Regards.
