Hmm...gotcha...Did you try a "PUT" and do you mean it works fine?
Then I will create such a directory and put that file "slide.def" and see what 
happens. But what I cant make out is does SLIDE really need that Slide.def file? 
Because it is all working for me in all cases except this PUT is not working with HSQL 
DB . Strange? I will dig in further tomorrow - too long day today.
