I had some of the same problems - you have to place your datasource definition correctly in the server.xml! However it did change from TC 4.0.x to TC 4.1.x.
What version of TC are you using? /Jacob -----Original Message----- From: Thomas Schueppel [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 18. juli 2002 15:05 To: Slide Users Mailing List Subject: J2EE Store: "Cannot create resource instance" hi, I'm trying to get Kumars (or any other) J2EE Store to work. After fiddling myself through the docs I created a configuration I expect to work. Un- fortunately I get the following error when starting: Service slidestore.j2ee.J2EEDescriptorsStore@c8376b initialization failed : Cannot create resource instance at org.apache.slide.common.Namespace.initializeServices(Namespace.java:489) at org.apache.slide.common.Namespace.loadDefinition(Namespace.java:764) at org.apache.slide.common.Domain.initNamespace(Domain.java:841) at org.apache.slide.common.Domain.init(Domain.java:479) at org.apache.slide.common.Domain.init(Domain.java:413) at org.apache.slide.common.Domain.init(Domain.java:376) at org.apache.slide.webdav.WebdavServlet.init(WebdavServlet.java:370) ... I have only one copy of the JDBC-Driver in common/lib. Does anybody have a working "server.xml, web.xml and Domain.xml" combo that utilizes J2EE and would like to share it with me?
