Do you mean by 'transparently' as both local and remote proxy class or just
remote?
Currenlty it's for only remote as I see....
And the runtime exception is required to catch for knowing the exception
reason.

The functions seems like being very limited to server remote proxy currently
a bit.
when the WebDAV server configuration is ok, it looks like ok to me...
(haven't tried yet though)
