Hi James,

is maybe "xmlspy 5" [http://www.altova.com] what you are looking for? It's
an XML editor (an more) where you can open-from/save-to a WebDAV server.

It's not free but you can download an evaluation copy. It's not Java and I'm
not sure whether Mac OS is supported.
