The only drawback I see is getting the owner/prinicpal of the lock. **** I suppose this is the ID parameter in the sitemap, but if the slide webapp is embedded in another webapp (e.g. there is no authenticator active in the sitemap), how is one to get the proper principal/owner property for the lock? **** I ask this since it is more than likely that this type of web-based file system would in the end be part of a greater whole. Beyond these concerns, I am nearly 100% certain I can get locking to work.
