Hello Portia,

Do not get confused about the "no content" response code, it actually means
success and the response body is empty. The resource itself was successfully
created at the server.

Best regards,

Juergen

Hi. Could you possibly shed some light on the following communication?

PUT /Temp/portia/bob.xml HTTP/1.0
Authorization: Basic cG9ydGlhOg==
Expect: 100-continue
Cookie: $Version=1;JSESSIONID=68905A5C5C2CCC3303C36A28E6003489; $Path=/;

$Domain=145.246.92.204
Host: 145.246.92.204:8082
User-Agent: Jakarta HTTP Client/1.0

<html>
<head>
<META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"><!
--http://145.246.92.204:8082/Temp/portia/bob.xml-->
<style>
div {display:inline;}
.hl_{background-color:#ffff00;}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<div class="doc">Hello Hawaii!</div>
</body>
</html>
HTTP/1.0 204 No Content
Server: Apache Tomcat/4.1.18 (HTTP/1.0 Connector)
Set-Cookie: sdata=f2ea42:f3c29a84c6:-7fd8;Expires=Thu, 06-Mar-2003 11:11:41
GMT;Path=/

The bit between "<html></html>" is the actual content of the file I am
sending and yet I get a "No Content" back.
Any ideas?

Thanks!
Portia

Hello Shoaib,

Would you be able to send us a sniffer protocol between the Slide client
and
the Apple server?

Best regards

Juergen

Subject: iDisk and Slide Client (Again...)

I'm re-sending this question as I got no responses the first time:

Slide does not work with Apple iDisk. iDisk is a WebDAV-enabled service
that
provides disk space on Apple Servers. Every WebDAV client I've tried
(windows, mac, etc) works with iDisk, except Slide. Is there anything
special that I should be doing?

When using the Slide command-line client, I get a "Unable to process
request" Error. Details:

[ Slide ] $ open http://idisk.mac.com/myusername
UserName: myusername
Password: mypassword
Warning: Unable to process request <-- ERROR
[ Slide ] $

I'm using Slide version 1.0.16.

Help!
