Agreed. I haven't dug too deep into the existing stores as they just seem to "work" for what I am doing here. My guess is that it will become a more prominent piece of the first layer, with docs on configuration of each store type, and a doc on how to write your own store. > I haven't checked out the JSR(s) yet. My first thought is that its part of the kernel, just as TX support is, but that's just a guess at this point. > I already initiated development of a generic WebDAV Tag > Library > (http://www.servlets.com/archive/servlet/ReadMsg?msgId=326288& listName=taglibs-d ev). I am still waiting for Jakarta-Taglibs approval for this project. I'd love to fold this project into the revived Slide. Great! As I talked with you before, I had to go the direct Slide kernel route.. What would be nice is that if the tags you wrote, or the Struts/JSTL taglib that is there, can take advantage of our new architecture in the future and be able to talk to the Slide kernel on another VM, or locally via JMX or direct invocation. I can't wait for all of this to fall into place!
