Was wondering if anyone had interest in setting up a Sourceforge Project 
solely for releases and branching CVS. This would not be a 'fork' but 
just a branching system so that releases could be setup, distributed, 
patched and merged as new developments occur within the Apache CVS tree.

   I am not particularly active in Slide myself but would volunteer to 
do all of this ( I have a huge need for a reliable WebDav system, as 
well as some time to work on it), with a little assistance from some of 
the documentation volunteers as well as anyone else that has an interest 
in getting something somewhat released, even in beta or buggy mode, 
which would still be better than what exists today.

   The goals would be as much stability as possible and a clear install 
system. Guides would be fine too, but I have fairly extensive Ant 
experience and am interested in building a system that accepts some 
defaults from a props file and sets up from there with automation.
