Hello Henry,

You may want to take a look at the Search method implementation in the
current CVS head. It is a very basic one, set the body (as xml), execute the
method and get the response xml document back.

Best regards,

Juergen

Subject: Client implementation of the Search Method

Hello,

I am new to slide but not so new to webdav. I have been doing development
against MS Exchange server for a product our company develops. I choose
Slide as our webdav client when we decided to switch our middle tier from
VB/C++ to Java.

I understand that the Slide client is being developed in tandem with the
Slide server, so that only the features that are in the Server have been
implemented in the client. I have found that to complete my project the
Search Method is a requirement, and was never completed in 1.0.16.

Has anyone found a solution around using the missing Search Method? Or has
anyone implemented their own method?

I would rather not use the next release until it is an official release, so
2.0 is currently not an option, but would appreciate any responses on 2.0.

Regards,
Henry Thompson
