Well, my choice was not necessarily based on feature sets, but AFAICT
from the past messages exchanged here, the nightly version has better
DeltaV support and many bug fixes. I think that a version was to be cut
soon (beta at the least), but the primary maintainers are really busy.
Besides, I usually live on the edge with Struts, JBoss, and other
libraries from their CVS trees. I usually go CVS unless a) the project
releases blessed versions often or b) their instability is such that
fetching CVS by labels or using releases will be more stable for daily
development. The afore mentioned groups are usually good about ensuring
stability minus the few snafus, and based on the cvs commit messages
from Slide, the commits always come with new or revised tests to ensure
the functionality works - unless its scratching someone's itch and was
banged out overnight.

Again, HTH,
James

Subject: RE: Survey: Nightly build or 1.0.16?

Yes it does help. Thank you for your response.

Now the next question:

Why use a Nightly instead of 1.0.16?

Basically my pestering questions result from lack of good Status
documentation for Slide. I have little idea what features are supported
in 1.0.16 and what new features have been added since then. Things I'm
interested in are DASL and Delta V. However I'm new to all of this
WebDAV stuff.
