Tobias,

I am currently writing a calendaring application using the Slide Client and
Exchange 200 as my data store, other than the lack of the Search Method; it
seems to be working fine.

I have been able to create appointments, with attendees (meeting requests),
via slide and have a VB prototype that pulls back all the meeting requests
based on a last modified date (via DASL). I am currently adding full
support for the Search Method in Slide 1.0.16

The biggest problem I found is the lack of documentation on the namespaces
and properties than MS uses. But Microsoft just released a new version of
the Exchange SDK and it has better documentation on this topic. The March
2003 Exchange SDK.

Also my first attempt at webdav and exchange came from this google search.
Expand all the responses in this topic and it should bring some light on
Exchange and webdav.

Subject: Use slide to connect to Exchange

Hi,

I have a need to connect (i.e add/remove contacts, appointments
etc) to our Exchange-server from java and hence I am investigating
Slide.

Has anyone done this? Are there any good starting-points or
utility classes or a framework already developed for this
particular need?

I have tried using the client provided in the distribution without
any success. When I connect to https://server/ i get to write the
username and password, but get a "Warning: Unable to process request".
When I connect to https://server/exchange/username/Contacts for example
I get "Forbidden (403)".

What am I doing wrong?
