Did you have a look at src/contrib/webdavgui? There you will find
another attempt to create a WebDAV JFileChooser. That one is used in
the WebDAV plug-in for the Morphon XML editor. I doubt, that it is
still reasonably working in the current cvs version. If you search the
list archives you will find that it does not work on Java 1.4, but you
will also find a patch.

I doubt, that one of the Slide maintainers, including myself, still
care of the WebdavFile class. It's definitely not optimal and you
better build your own wrapper around WebdavResource.
