mySQL problems

I want to configure Slide to use a mysql database but I get errors in the log file 
saying smth like:
javax.servlet.ServletException: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The reference to entity 
"password" must end with the ';' delimiter. 
        at org.apache.slide.webdav.WebdavServlet.init(WebdavServlet.java:426)
        at javax.servlet.GenericServlet.init(GenericServlet.java:258)
        at org.apache.slide.webdav.WebdavServlet.init(WebdavServlet.java:324)Any 
ideeas why I get this message?
