Thanks, I was looking for the Client command line because trying to do a 
propput hangs when I try it.  But will look at those refs and look at 
the test suite as well.

Ok thanks, any hints on how to add new properties with the Client?  Any 
other way?

you choose, providing they do not clash with DAV reserved properties, and the 
strings conform to whatever charset you're running slide with.

You don't have to register the properties in a Schema or anything like this.
