I think I understand you well. DeltaV as defined in RFC3253 is entirely implemented in 
the WebDAV layer of Slide, i.e. is not available at the native Slide API level. On the 
other hand, at Slide API level you have versioning as well (versions are called 
revisions at this level), but it is not DeltaV and it contains less features compared 
to DeltaV. When we implemented DeltaV, we tried to integrate both models as much as 
possible. Unfortunately, a full integration was not possible (e.g. history is a 
separate resource in DeltaV, but not in the Slide versioning engine).

What is the reason, you don't want to use WebDAV?
