2.0 is incompatible to 1.0 that's right :(
Although I have no solution at hand, I would propose to have both 1.0 and 2.0 schemas created in the same database and create some "select into ..." SQL statements and copy the old data from the old scheme to the new one. This is quite a piece of work, but I have no better idea :(
If you actually decide to go this way, please donate your code to the community...
