Sorry I forgot to specify a subject... ----- Original Message ----- From: Bernard Sirius To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, June 16, 2004 4:44 PM
Hi all, As a perfect newbie, I'm trying to connect to my fresh slide installation using Windows XP. But: 1) I found out that the :8080 is apparently not allowed and 2) the username/password I specify (root/root) don't work as they do when simply browsing using standard mozilla (which indicates that things are somehow working) I have several other questions in my mind: We have developed an EJB system for the storage of media metadata. The system stores files on the filesystem. But for now the data must be delivered using HTTP. We provide a faade (session bean) method with a heavyweight data object with the media data and its associated metadata. Using Slide, is it still possible to decouple the metadata handling which we use for querying (using Hibernate) ? regards, Bernard
