Here's the scenario. I want most of my files available to everyone so I have "grant read to all" set on the root folder. This inherits down to everything else, but I need to make one section private. So as root I set: "deny read from all" on the folder I want to be private and now *I* can't access the folder.
I understand why this happens, but since I can't access the folder anymore my only choice seems to be to stop Slide, remove the permission from the Store (or grant an explicit permission for root), then start Slide again.
