While we haven't done it yet, so who knows what we will find, we are planning on a Secondary Store based on JXTA that will pick up changes to content and metadata and then post a JXTA advertisement to the other Slide JXTA instances and replicate the updates. The Primary Store will complete its transaction and then the Secondary Store will act on the change.
I know it isn't much detail and we are not going to donate this back to the slide project, but it might help you to know what we are planning to do. Michael Oliver CTO Matrix Intermedia Inc. 3325 N. Hello All, We have a deployment infrastruture as follows Hardware Load balancer ( Using cisco) two LINUX boxes ( Apache) three HP-UX boxes ( WebLogic App servers) one LINUX box ( Oracle DB) Our applications are installed on all three HP-UX boxes and on the thrid HP-UX box one Slide Server(ver 1.0) is also running, this is for accessing file system which on other machine ( file system is mounted to all three HP-UX boxes), so that slide server can access these files. All the slide request will be routing to thrid machine using cisco where Slide Server is running. Now we want to make the Slide Server instances running on other two boxes for better performance. As far as I know Slide Server give some issues multiple instance running because there is no synchronization mechanisim between the different instances. Question . 1. How can I make mutiple instance of slide which slove my issue (synchronization between the different instances). 2.. Does the latest Slide2.0 slove the above issue. rgds Daniel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
