Yes it is possible. You need to create a new jetspeed service which makes some calls to the slide engine either via the slide java API or via the Webdav client.
For scability and flexibilty reason, it is better to use the webdav client. In fact it is possible to use the new webdav client connector from this jetspeed service or directly the WebdavResource class.
I make the mistake to use previsoulsy the Slide api but I'm migrating smoothly to the webdav client.

On the other hand, we are building more robust CMS components for J2. the cms repository could be Slide. Thoses components can run on the top of any Picocontainer engine or Spring framework.
Currently, we are migrating thoses components in order to support webdav.

Let me know if you want to get more info on this integration.

We would like to connect Slide as a content management system to the Jakarta-Jetspeed-1.5 Portal
system. Is this possible? I have the book "Professional Portal Development with Open
Source Toosl (Java Portlet API, Lucerne, James, Slide)" and the book doesn't mention
anything about Slide connecting to Jetspeed-1.5.

Thanks in advance,
