It would be correct if it would be shown *in addition* to the URL (thus duplicate displaynames would be ok), and if the client would use the actual URL (instead of the collection's URL + the displayname) to access the resource. So yes, a client *can* use the displayname, but it needs to do it carefully; the Webfolder client doesn't, which means it's broken.

Even if their implementation isn't correct.  Can you direct me to any docs
or write-ups on this?
