No effect. I'm beginning to think Stefan is right about this issue, that the permissions are not stored on the database. And using JDBCStore with Slide they sure should be there. Everything seems fine in Slide as it has the ACLs in memory (cached); However in the permissions table nothing was inserted in the table when these directories and files were created, unlike inserts with roles/users permissions. Seems like an omission by the original programmer. I'll look it up (in the hopes this is the culprit) and report back here when done.
