I can do a GET for files that were placed by another client (Goliath).
However, once for files PUT by the Osx Finder - once I even make the
webDAV folder active - the file in question disappears.

Yes, that's what I did.

It did the PUT succeeded. At least that's what your log said.
(3) There is one file in the repository that has zero length, but
should not, I suppose this exactly is the error that has been fixed.

Unfortunately - not yet
Please note that you will have to try the GET with newly uploaded
files, as the problem really is the PUT, not the GET. Did you do that,
uploading a new file, trying to get it and still and error?
