There you can read aboud a basicsearch query, which is quite similar to sql. The wehre clause of such a query allows boolean combinations of different criteria (metadata and content).
Slide 2.2 will offer a lucene based indexing component, either for metadata and content. If you want to try this, you have to build your aown from the cvs head. Some initial documentation about this you can find in our wiki http://wiki.apache.org/jakarta-slide/DaslConfiguration.
