We actually discovered this by accident while trying to test SMB. If you "net use <drive>: //host" and that host doesn't speak SMB, it will try to talk to port 80 and if it can see if port 80 talks WebDAV. If the the above command succeeds, a subsequent "net use" will list that share as using the "Web Client Network".

I think only WinXP does this.

Hi Mark,

How did you mount slide as a network resource? Are you using Windows Explorer and webfolders or
did you use "net use" to mount a shared drive. I had heard that the latter was possible
but am not sure how to do it with "net use". I also can't find any references in the mail
archives.

Thanks,
Warwick

OK, I figured out that this is aplication-specific ....

Hi,

Im currently using Slide within windows by defining a network ressource pointing to its location (localhost/slide).

I noticed that it isnt possible to double-click these files to use them. Is there any way to do this ?

Bye,
