About the firewall/proxy issue, I'm not sure right now, but I think I have
the same problem at home using a Modem connection withou any proxy or
firewall.. I'll try it later and I'll let you know ok.
So, assuming that proxy/firewall is not the problem, you can think of any
other approach to this problem?

My applet is already signed, the first time it runs it asks me for the
certificate confirmation, etc, and I'm aware it runs in the client side,
but
my question is, if it works in any machine over my LAN, why not over the
Internet once it is already started and my .java.policy allows it to do
everything.
About the exceptions, you mean, in the java console?
