Hi!

This probably means you didn't give the client a username and password, the 
combination of which is often called "credentials". Credentials might also 
include some key pairs, but not for http. With http basic authentication, you 
also have to submit the realm to log in to along with your username password 
combination.
Try playing with those settings (not exactly sure where to configure this in 
the commandline client).
