I use slide for about 2000 users and I would say works well if you
configure it correctly. I know there are Univesities that use slide in a
far more large scale. You might also want to look at Jack Rabbit.

Hi!
I'm looking for a WebDAV based document store for a small company. At
first sight Slide looks ideal (based on features), but as the last
release was more than two years ago, I'm afraid that the project is
nearly dead.
So my questions are:
* Are there continous bug/securty fixes for Slide at least in the CVS?
* Is Slide a complete WebDAV server (e.g. in terms of compatibility with
XinXP Web Folders)?
It does .... with limitations . The problem, here, is Micro$oft
"custom" properties introduced to make anything but sharepoint almost
useless with webfolders .
Depending on your needs, I'd suggest you to give it a try and see how
it works for you
* Dose someone use Slide in a production environment?
I do, althou I use it in a VERY small company that uses windows just
for the secretary's pc.... all the other machines are linux based and
people behind the screens are web programmers .
Thank you,
Np
