Um nochmal auf das von MSA geschilderte Problem zurückzukommen: Auch bei mir wird das Datum englisch angezeigt, wenn meine Squeezebox (nur) mit SqueezeNetwork verbunden ist. Bei den dortigen "Preferences" werden allerdings nur englische Datumsdarstellungen angeboten, auch wenn man "Deutsch" als Sprache gewählt hat (siehe Bild im Anhang!).
