Hallo nochmal, habe jetzt herausgefunden, warum es bei mir nicht funktioniert hat. Es lag wie bereits vermutet daran, daß ich keinen Benutzer mit einem Passwort belegt hatte. In der amerikanischen FAQ stand es dann ja auch deutlich:
**** ...visit Control Panels -> Administrative Tools -> Services. Find SlimServer and double-click to view the properties. Click on the Log On tab, then click This Account and enter the account information for the user account that has access to the network volume. (Note: The user account for the service must be protected by a password for this to work.) **** Habe mich daraufhin im abgesicherten Modus als Administrator angemeldet und dem Administrator in den Benutzerkonten erstmal ein Passwort gegeben und die entsprechenden Änderungen in VERWALTUNG/DIENSTE/SLIMSERVER vorgenommen. Jetzt funktioniert der Slimserver auch mit Netzlaufwerken. Danke allen, die mir weitergeholfen haben!
