To perform a factory reset on your Squeezebox Duet, please follow the instructions below: Squeezebox Reciever: 1. Press and hold the button on the front of player for about 6 seconds or until the light blinks red quickly. (first it blinks slowly, then quickly.) 2. Release the button. 3. The light will blink red quickly while it resets. Then it will go solid red briefly before finally blinking red slowly. It is not reset to factory defaults and ready for setup. Squeezebox Controller: 1. Hold down the LEFT button on the controller for 5 seconds to force it to a settings menu. 2. Go to Settings > Controller Settings > Advanced > Factory Reset. (Squeezebox Controller - Alternate Method: 1. Hold down the HOME/PWR button for 5-10 seconds to force a power down. 2. While holding down the ADD button (+) press the HOME/PWR button again. The button lights will flash and the controller will power on. 3. When you see the Logitech logo you may release the ADD button. The controller is now reset to factory defaults. ) Once both devices are reset, go through the setup process once more and see if there's any change.
