Thanks Felix, for those that don't know me, I currently run the website development team at Edmunds.com in Santa Monica, California (rough place to work ;-). I've been doing web site development for about twelve years or so and have focused mainly on the middle and back-end tiers. However, since coming to Edmunds (and becoming a manager) I have had to take on everything from HTML down to the DB and have been working a lot with my team on moving farther into the front end with javascript coding with ajax and whatnot. We have been a Day client for a few years now and are running a bunch of our site on CQ4.1. When I met Felix and he described Sling I became very excited about the possibilities, I have become a firm believer in the JCR model and look forward to helping in whatever way I can with building out this content centric approach as I feel that it offers a tremendous opportunity for the end developer.

Hi,

Please welcome Paddy Hannon as a new committer and PPMC member of the
Apache Sling project. The Sling PPMC recently voted to grant
committership to Paddy and he accepted the nomination. The related
administrational work is currently being taken care of.

Paddy, welcome to the team!
