At least that you have ICLAs on file should help with the IP-vetting.
This is not completely the same as the RAT case, but so far it seems
that since all code in RAT has been written by ASF committers we
wouldn't need any additional software grants.

You could and probably should still use the IP-clearance forms
<http://incubator.apache.org/ip-clearance/index.html> and that should
be it.
