For Janandith's work, I suggest that we start working with patches attached to JIRA issues, and if we later see that that's not practical we'll find a better way. Janandith, could you file a Contributor License Agreement [2] with the ASF? This is required for substantial code contributions to our projects, and as you're going to contribute a new module to Sling I think it's good to have that early in the process.
