But IMHO Sling should not rely on the access rights of /etc/cron.d/*
to be set properly - because the repository contents are outside of
his control. That's why I suggested to check for admin-only write
access on those scripts. Well, thinking about it, this might be more
difficult to do (the "only" part). Maybe the proper securing of the
/etc/cron.d directory should be left to the administrator of the
repository....
