Felix Meschberger commented on SLING-846:
-----------------------------------------
Yes this is in fact the same as FELIX-869. Unfortunately the 1.4.0 and 1.4.1
releases of the framework have a bug in the ServiceReference.hasCode() method
which causes it to throw the IllegalStateException if the service has been
unregistered. I also noticed this and am working on a solution to this....
Currently -- for Sling -- we have two options: fall back to 1.0.4 or step up to
1.5.0-SNAPSHOT.
Falling back to 1.0.4 is not a very good option IMHO, for one reason is that
from my guts feeling 1.4.1 is faster than 1.0.4 and contains lots of fixes and
enhancements.
So I think we should go to 1.5.0-SNAPSHOT and thus help the Felix project to
get the actual pile of work in the inner guts to be going to a great end.
