I'm here to help. I've looked at http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/SLING/Status+of+documentation+progress and thought "Getting and building Sling [UPDATE]" would be a good place to start. The existing page appears to be http://incubator.apache.org/sling/site/getting-and-building-sling.html it looks to be accurate, so I wonder if there's a specific goal to updating this page.
