My two cents,
I don't really know the setup for SLP, what machine and where and whose pipe but
perheps the requests for sponsorship should be more invigorated? The ISP's, SCV,
SONE and StarHub(?) all have spare capacity(but don't let them stick u in a
server farm with a 10 Mbps line). The trick is to convince them to let them host
SLP for "FREE". I'm sure they have plans on introducing linux support soon, so
SLP might want to start badgering them about it. In return, advertising space or
recommendations could be directed to their service.
Web hosting is solvable but the FTP space/bandwidth would not be easy.
