This sounds like a very good idea. :-)
Over the last couple of weeks, I have reinstalled Linux four times on my laptop
as a means of testing out different distributions (RedHat times 2, Mandrake
and SuSe). I am still waiting to test out Slackware 7.0.
So I will volunteer to write an initial version of "What are the differences
between the distributions?" if nobody else wants it. I assume this is the
better way of phrasing the question rather than "Which is the best
distribution" since the latter leads to religious wars. When I'm done, some
well informed individual may want to add something about the Corel distro or
some of the others (probably I should download and test out trinux, or
whatever it's called ... it's a mini-linux).
