I'm having a fairly specific problem with a Bt878-based video
capture card - a Skywell MagicTV - and wondering if anyone else on the
list has had similar hassle, since I've been told that several others
here have also recently bought these cards. Since I suspect this list is
not really intended for in-depth technical issues (I'm new !), I'll be
brief.
Basically, I've using the new Video for Linux 2 API, and a fairly
newly developed driver - BTTV2 for V4L2 (by Justin Schoeman, 25/11/99).
When grabbing images from a PAL colour camera with a composite video out,
I'm only getting monochrome images. I've also tried it with a camera with
S-Video out, with the same results. In summary, has anyone with a MagicTV
card managed to get colour video (I'm not concerned about TV) out, and if
so, how ?

Cheers,
Andrew.

PS. I've already trawled this problem through the v4l2 mailing list : had
a lot of interesting feedback, but no success.
