The only way I managed to get it to work was to get gpm to redirect mouse
events to /dev/gpmdata (it's in the config file for gpm) and then getting
XFree to look there and expect Mouse Systems data (from memory--read the
man page for gpm).
I'd love to get the wheel mouse working. Even if just in Netscape!
