The client machine is using a printcap entry that refers to the printer as
lp. lp is defined in the printcap as a remote printer with the remote name
of lp. I included a copy of the printcap files for the client and server in
the original posting and I can't see anything wrong with them. This seems to
me to be a very simple straight forward setup and that's why I'm stumped by
the error coming from lpd on the server that /dev/lp0 does not exist when it
uses that exact device just fine when printing locally.
